Contact us

Email us for anything — bugs, billing, account help, or feedback. We aim to reply within 1–2 business days. Reports of objectionable content or abuse are actioned within 24 hours.

Subscriptions & billing

  • Mist & Soil Premium unlocks the AI Plant Doctor, unlimited plants, the full care-guide library, and community posting.
  • Monthly — US $3.99 / month. Yearly — US $19.99 / year. New subscribers get a 3-day free trial.
  • Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Manage or cancel: on your iPhone open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Mist & Soil.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Restore a purchase

Open the app, go to the subscription screen, and tap Restore. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.

Report content or block a user

Mist & Soil has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. In the community:

  • Flag content: tap the “…” menu on any post or comment and choose Report, then pick a reason.
  • Block a user: tap the “…” menu on their post or profile and choose Block. Their posts and comments disappear from your feed instantly, and our team is notified.
  • You can also email us. We review every report and remove violating content and offending accounts within 24 hours.

Delete your account

In the app: Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, posts, journal, and garden. You can also request deletion by emailing us from your account email.

AI features

The AI Plant Doctor and plant identifier are informational, not professional advice. For valuable plants consult a horticulturist; for pet or child toxicity concerns consult a veterinarian or poison control.

Common questions

  • Reminders aren’t firing. Enable notifications in Settings → Mist & Soil → Notifications.
  • Scan won’t open the camera. Allow camera access in Settings → Mist & Soil → Camera, or use the Photos picker.
  • Forgot your password? Use “Forgot password?” on the sign-in screen, or email us.
